Embracing Your Height: Tips and Strategies for Tall Women and Tall Girls

As a tall woman or tall girl, it can be easy to feel self-conscious about your height. Society often places a lot of value on traditional notions of femininity, which can lead to tall women feeling like they don't fit the mold. But it's important to remember that your height is something to be celebrated, not something to be ashamed of.

One of the most important things tall women and tall girls can do to embrace their heights is to surround themselves with positive role models and supportive communities. This can be as simple as finding online groups or forums for tall women, or seeking out mentors and friends who are also tall and can offer guidance and encouragement. One of our favorite tall groups is on Facebook called @TallGirlApproved. This group of over 26k tall girls and they share links to tall clothing items that are approved by them.

Another way to embrace your height is to find clothing and accessories that flatter your figure and make you feel confident. This may mean investing in tailored clothing or finding brands that cater specifically to taller women. It's also a good idea to experiment with different styles and see what works best for your body type.  Some of our favorite tall brands are of course; The Elevated Closet, Tall Size, TJL Collection, WeExist and Prissy Duck Designs.

One of the biggest challenges tall women and tall girls face is the lack of representation in the media and popular culture. It can be disheartening to see very few characters or celebrities who look like you on TV, in movies, or in magazines. But it's important to remember that you are not alone, and that there are many tall women out there who are making their mark in all kinds of fields. Seek out and celebrate these role models, and remember that you too have the power to make a difference in your own way. Women like Taylor Swift (5ft11), Elizabeth Debicki (6ft3), Gabby Reece (6ft3), Lisa Leslie (6ft4), Gwendoline Christie (6ft3) and more! Some of our favorite tall influencers on Instagram are @TheRealTall, @TallofTheBall, @Stand.beautifullytall, @6footabae, @TheTallMama, @TallCurvyAndPlus, @One_Tall_Order, @tall_girl_approved, @Tallfashionadventure, & @KJAlexan40.

Ultimately, the key to empowering tall women and tall girls is to embrace and celebrate their uniqueness, and to recognize that their height is just one aspect of who they are. By standing tall and being confident in your own skin, you can inspire others to do the same and create a more diverse and inclusive society for all.
